"Hi,
I wanted you all to know how wonderful your sarongs were for
our destination wedding. They were exactly what I
wanted; comfortable, beautiful, and totally perfect for a
wedding on the beach! Trevor and I were married at the Riu Ocho
Rios in Ocho Rios, Jamaica on January 24, 2009.
I wore the Hilde in rayon with a set of the sunset sheers
underneath, and a set of the mother of pearl sarong pins. I
modified the dress somewhat by sewing the sheer pieces to the
dress and adding a ribbon for a strap. The result was a
fantastic dress that was so easy to wear. My bridesmaids wore
khaki solid sarongs with a sunset sheer underneath, they came up
with the one shoulder tie after an evening of practicing
different styles. We received so many compliments on our
dresses, everyone thought they were fantastic! Trevor told me
later that he could never have imagined a dress like the one I
had, and that it was so me!
Thank you again, I cannot tell you how happy I was to find your
site and how perfect a sarong wedding dress was for the beach.
